Each policyholder's driving risk is evaluated based on their driving habits and behaviors. Their driving score is displayed prominently on the Digital Driver dashboard (0 = risky, 100 = safe). Smoothness
The smoothness driving score component measures policyholders' propensity to drive calmly, with slower stops and starts and more deliberate lane changes. Distance
This driving score component measures the distance a policyholder drives. Policyholders' risk of having an accident generally increases the more they drive. Time of Day
Accidents are more likely at night and during peak commuting hours. This factor measures the propensity of a policyholder to drive during riskier times. Road
Some routes are safer than others. Driving mostly on highways rather than local roads lowers policyholders' chance of an accident. This factor measure the propensity of a policyholder to travel routes that are riskier. Weekly Trends
Policyholders are provided with a trendline showing how their score has changed over time. Latest Trips

While only three events are highlighted, all risky driving behaviors are used to calculate a trip risk score. Risk events are categorized by intensity: high impact (red), medium impact (yellow), and low impact (green). Risk event classification is used to help policyholders better understand their behavior.
