End-to-end observability for new levels of performance and business
With the growth of the OCTO ecosystem and the management of an increasingly coherent amount of data and information, the need to guarantee even higher standards of reliability and efficiency in the services provided through the platform has emerged. To respond to these new market challenges, it was essential to have a technologically solid and flexible infrastructure.
“Thanks to the integration with Dynatrace we were able to adopt a proactive and predictive approach to performance management. Today we are able to promptly intercept any problems, significantly reducing downtime, both performance-related and those resulting from incidental events. This has allowed us to significantly improve our KPIs and offer our customers a smoother and more effective user experience, creating a value chain that is advantageous for all parties involved”, said Francesco Barbieri, Global Chief Technology Officer of OCTO
With Dynatrace to reduce problem resolution times
The adoption of Dynatrace has allowed OCTO to significantly optimize its MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), achieving resolution times in line with the highest standards of the sector, even in the presence of critical problems. This contributes to maintaining high-performance service levels consistent with customer expectations. Today, enhancing more than 30% of performance-related downtime events. Furthermore, with the introduction of Dynatrace, the company intercepts problems before they occur, anticipating the problem itself, with the advantage of having drastically reduced performance-related events.
“The predictive approach introduced with Dynatrace allows us to anticipate resource exhaustion and perform scaling operations earlier, thus avoiding reactive interventions or the use of corrective scripts. This has made performance management more efficient and has freed up a significant amount of time – previously absorbed by complex problem-solving activities – that we can now dedicate to strategic innovation projects”, said Francesco Barbieri of OCTO Telematics.
“It is incredible to see how a leading player in its sector such as OCTO can further strengthen its leadership thanks to our AI-powered observability platform. The company is able to target new business opportunities thanks to high performance and increasingly timely services driven by real-time data and insights”, commented Emanuele Cagnola, Regional Vice President for Italy of Dynatrace
