Pedro Bernardo is the Chief Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Officer, where he leads a multidisciplinary team committed to defining and implementing innovative commercial strategies, with the aim of driving revenue growth in the insurance sector. His passion for sustainable and profitable growth combines with a recognised ability to build cohesive teams inspired by a shared vision.
 
With over 20 years of international experience in EMEA, the US and Asia in the financial services and technology sectors, Pedro had a significant impact in launching new businesses, leading complex transformation programs and executing major business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
In the telematics field, he co-founded and led G-Evolution, Groupama’s captive automotive telematics service provider. Under his leadership, the company built an important client portfolio, achieved a significant reduction in claims costs using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies, and signed its first external contract with a major European fleet.
 
Pedro holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Of Spanish nationality, he is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
