OCTO alongside DI.DI. for road safety education in schools

Emiliano Malagoli of the Diversamente Disabili Association interviewed our CEO, Nicola Veratelli, on the topic of road safety education.

On the one hand, the testimony of someone who lost a limb in a car accident, and who managed to get up from a tragedy and live a better life than before; on the other hand, OCTO, which for five years now has been at the side of DI. DI. in the association’s training, sports and social actions. Among these, the initiative ‘Don’t throw your life away in a second’ has seen Di.DI. engaged in cycles of meetings with Italian school students to make them aware of the importance of road safety education and accident prevention, as well as to introduce them to the world of disability from a different perspective. In recent years Di.Di. has come to meet more than 10,000 young people online and in person.

OCTO, which places Vision Zero – Zero Traffic, Zero Accidents and Zero Pollution – at the centre of everything, cannot but support DI. DI. given its commitment to driving coaching, a process with the aim and wish of everyone to improve their driving style.

The interview has been divided into three video pills. You can find the first one here, the rest will be published in the coming weeks.
