Sara Assicurazioni identified a concrete opportunity for differentiation: addressing the growing need for safety and assistance among a category of road users structurally more exposed to risk, while bringing to the two-wheel world the telematics model already well established in the automotive sector.
The objective was twofold: to strengthen competitiveness in a segment still lagging in digital maturity, and to make a qualitative leap from traditional insurance product to a true connected mobility ecosystem — capable of delivering value beyond coverage, across the entire customer lifecycle.
The Solution
In partnership with OCTO, Sara Assicurazioni developed Ruota Libera Moto, a telematics policy designed exclusively for the two-wheel world. The solution integrates advanced telematics into a unified experience combining prevention, assistance, and connected services.
