Octo is leader for innovation and technology. The company was honored by Deloitte, a global leader in the field of consulting firms since November 30, 2012, who published the “Technology Fast 500 Emea”, ranking of the 500 companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as being one of the companies that has focused mainly on high level technology solutions . The list, which has been compiled for the twelfth consecutive year, includes public and private companies of different sectors (from telecommunications to media entertainment, from IT to pharmaceuticals), that have registered, in percentage terms, the largest growth in revenues of the last five years.
Octo, which placed 211th with an increase in income of 682%, can be proud of its record. There are only four Italian companies included in the top 500. The other three are TerniEnergia S.p.A., active in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency, placed 84th, with a growth of 1485%; Triboo, consolidated e-commerece platforms placed 308th (+487% income increase in the last five years) and, last, Neomobile, content producer for smartphones and tablets, placed 485th (+290% income increase in the last five years ).
While for Triboo and Neomobile it is a debut, and for TerniEnergia it is the second time, for Octo it has been the third year in a row. In the 2011 edition , Octo placed 296th (+574% average income increase). In the previous year, the company even placed 142th (+1139,99%), the only Italian company that had the privilage of being classified in the top 500.
Even though very few Italian companies are “rewarded” by Deloitte, Octo’s result shows how investing in high quality technology solutions proves to be a winning asset to be even more competitive in Europe and in the world.
