Octo Telematics continues to sponsor the Pramac Moto GP Racing Team
Sponsors, media and invited guests eagerly attended the presentation of the Octo Pramac Racing Team drivers, motorcycles and livery yesterday at the “Compagna Auditorium” of the imposing Castel dell’Ovo, where the team unveiled the new Ducati Desmosedici GP 2017 racing motorcycle against the backdrop of the splendid gulf of Posillipo in Naples.
Drivers Petrux and Scott have been confirmed for the 2017 season, with the Italian who will pilot the new Ducati Desmosedici and the Englishman who, for the moment, will continue to race with the reliable Ducati Desmosedici GP 2016.
“For the third year in a row we are the proud Title Sponsor of the Octo Pramac Racing Team. This year, the team will face new challenges and we expect great results from them, especially thanks to the new Ducati motorcycle driven by Danilo Petrucci,” explained Fabio Sbianchi, CEO Octo Telematics. “As usual we share a common goal: we address an international audience with responsibility and a global vision to transfer our values of innovation and excellence.”
Telematics technology plays a fundamental role in international motor sports. It allows teams to monitor and collect data on all aspects of the vehicle’s performance and strives to continuously improve safety, reliability and competitiveness. And Octo transforms the benefits of this research into fantastic opportunities for drivers and pilots, alike.

“We are facing the new season, our sixteenth in a row, with great enthusiasm. We will place our ambitions and our expectations on Danilo Petrucci and Scott Redding. They will be supported by the extraordinary commitment of all our team and will be fuelled by the consolidation of our relationship with Octo Telematics. In a sport where speed and change are the foundation of success, being able to create such a long-lived and productive partnership is the confirmation of the quality of the work done so far, with the belief that it will also bring great new results,” concluded Paolo Campinotti, Team Principal, Octo Pramac Racing.
Octo Telematics has sponsored the Pramac Moto GP Racing Team since 2015.
